Slowyuga Opening Celebration

As the street signs start to go up this week, we are excited to kick off some celebrations and street activations with Slowyuga Opening Day! Join us Monday, May 29th (Memorial Day) from 11am-3pm.

It will be a progressive party along the Cayuga corridor. Events will be concentrated on the four blocks below, but all are welcome to create their own “slow spot.” Come out to meet neighbors, share food, and have fun on San Francisco’s newest Slow Street. Bring your comfy shoes, bikes, roller skates, strollers, skateboards, street chalk, and more.

11am-12pm: 500-600 blocks of Cayuga (Theresa to Santa Rosa)
12-1pm: 700 block of Cayuga (Santa Rosa to San Juan)
1-2pm: 800 block of Cayuga (San Juan to Santa Ynez)
2-3pm: 900 block of Cayuga (Ocean to Onondaga)
